Working on the seat pan
Fabbed the seat pan out of aluminum sheet. A bit overbuilt, but that should be OK.
Rear hump is affixed to the pan using the stock mounting points. "Stinger" on the end will be used to help mount both the muffler and the tail lights (if I bother with the latter..!)
This gives you an idea of the side profile. Next step is to eventually fabricate a seat with foam padding. It will be attached via velcro or bolts.

Roughing out the rearsets
Muz rearsets mounts are unique/odd at 70mm between the centres. I decided to get some new gixxer1000 ones, which already mount on an OEM adapter, and fill in the blank with something that can connect the 2. Used MDF because it was handy and easy to shape.
Looks a bit dodgy, but you get the idea. I will hope to include 4 mounting points, rather than 3.
Note that the rearset plates themselves can also go up and down too -- a higher setting for more ground clearance. Will have to modify things a bit to get them to work, but I think this is a decent start.
